Bat Trade In

Want to trade that used stick in for a new shaved and rolled bat?  You can do it right here!  Here is how the program works:

  1. Email a few pictures of your bat(s) to homerunderbybatsonly@gmail.com with "Bat Trade In" as the email subject
  2. In the email, tell us about your bat
    • Make
    • Model
    • Condition
    • Estimated number of hits
    • Has the bat been altered in any way (i.e. shaved, rolled, end cap replaced, stock grip replaced, etc....)
  3. We will make you an offer within 24 hours
  4. If verbal offer is acceptable, mail us the bat
  5. Once the bat is received, we will evaluate it to ensure it is in said condition
  6. If bat is found to be in said condition, we will issue you a store credit you can use on a future purchase
    • if bat is NOT in said condition, we will send you a counter offer where you can accept or choose to have the bat mailed back to you
    • if you choose to have the bat mailed back, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping charges

What we accept:

  • Composite slow pitch, fast pitch or baseball bats

What we do NOT accept

  • Bats that are broken or cracked -- this includes, the barrel, end cap or knob
  • Bats that are NOT completely intact meaning no end cap, no knob or anything else that would make it not complete
  • Wooden, alloy, scandium or metal bats
  • Any bat that has been previously shaved or rolled

1. Evaluation and Offer. An initial offer for merchandise credit ("Offer") from Homerun Derby Bats Only ("HDBO") to you ("Customer") will initially be based on the information supplied during the trade in submission, and any subsequent photos sent to HDBO. The final offer will be based on, among other factors, the actual physical condition of the bat received, compression score, market pricing conditions and current inventory levels.

2. Difference in Offers. If the actual physical condition of the bat received differs from the condition described during the trade in submission and subsequent photos sent to HDBO, the final offer may differ from the initial offer. Any adjustments between the initial, intermediate and/or final offers for credit will be done at the sole discretion of HDBO.

3. Trade In Return. If you decline the final trade in offer, HDBO will ship your bat back to you once actual return shipping charges have been paid by Customer

4. Unclaimed Bats. If no response is received within 90 days after a formal Offer is made, or if payment for return shipping is not received within 90 days of rejection of an Offer, the Customer forfeits all ownership rights to the bat. HDBO may trade, sell or keep the Bat at its sole discretion.
